What courses can I do after this?
You have three progression routes:
- Level 2 qualification at The College
- Employment in IT Industry
- Apprenticeship training with opportunities for further part-time study
What jobs can I get?
The qualification opens up employment opportunities in a whole host of jobs in the industry, from forensic computing, IT Technician, IT security, web development to database administration.
To do this course you should have...
You will need to achieve GCSEs grades 3 - 2 (formerly D-E), including English and maths. Alternatively, successful completion of a Foundation Entry Level 3 qualification and have achieved an Entry Level 3 Functional Skill in English and maths.
What about work experience?
You will participate in 30 hours of work experience with a local IT company as part of this Study Programme.

This course will be run at our Lansdowne, Bournemouth Campus. Hours of attendance and start date will be confirmed at interview or enrolment.

You’ll be based in Lansdowne. This is a very practical, hands-on programme, integrating new and emerging technologies.
During your course, you will have the opportunity to go on trips and to compete in competitions eg Centre VR.
