Working in the hospitality sector can take you all over the world. With over 350 hotels and restaurants in the local area and more than 1.800 chefs being employed , there are plenty of opportunities right here, too. Some of our students go on to placements in the best hotels in the world, such as The Ritz and Claridge’s, and many go on to run their own business.

Our Escoffier fine dining restaurant is award-winning and not only that, our lecturers and their teaching methods are too.

The Specialised Chefs’ scholarship is the first of only 3 other Royal Academy of Culinary Arts apprenticeship courses in the UK. You could have the opportunity to work at The Ritz, Claridge’s, The Langham in London and more!

Gold accreditation in association with Hospitality Guild logo We were the first college in the country to be awarded the Gold accreditation standard by the Hospitality Guild
Centre of Excellence logo We have been recognised as a Centre of Excellence in Food and Beverage Service and also Patisserie and Confectionery by People 1st, the sector skills council for hospitality, passenger transport, travel and tourism in the UK.
AA Rosette Highly Commended logo Our restaurant, Escoffier, has achieved the Highly Commended rating from the AA College Rosette Scheme. The assessors in particular recognised the good use of technology within our restaurant.
