What courses can I do after this?
Once qualified there are opportunities to continue to study for specialist qualifications in beauty and related therapies e.g. Reflexology; Aromotherapy; Epilation and Nail Technology.
What do I need to apply
To do this course you should have...
Sucessful completion of a relevant Level 2 Beauty Therapy qualification and a minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths grades 9-4 (formerly A*-C) or a Level 2 Functional Skill in English and Maths. You will be expected to work on clients and provide models for assessments. You will enhance your practical work with theory elements and assignments that will be worked on at home.

You will study the following subject areas:
- Anatomy & Physiology
- Health and Safety Practice in the salon
- Client Care and Communication
- Working with colleagues in the beauty therapy industry
- Provide microdermabrasion treatments
- Facial electrotherapy
- Body electrotherapy
- Body massage
- Provide Stone Therapy
- Indian Head Massage
Practical Skills & Treatments: please be aware that as part of your practical lessons students learn the treatments on each other. Further development is then performed on paying clients in one of our salons, which is a mandatory element of the formal assessment process.
