Course Content
Each term will culminate in a performance project combining all the skills you have learnt that term in a final project to be presented in showcase in the Jellicoe Theatre.’
The courses will cover the three disciplines of Acting, Dance and Singing. These 3 separate streams will incorporate elements of theatre/performance work, developing confidence and building skills.
The Acting stream will cover skills such as devising, improvisation, rehearsal and performance,
The Dance stream will cover styles such as contemporary, commercial, and Jazz dance
The Singing stream will incorporate a variety of styles, and skills including, pitch, tone, modulation, vocal colour and vocal range.
All the skills session will culminate in an independent performance relative to the specific skill being studied.
The ultimate goal is for students to have the opportunity to experience the developmental and performance elements of each skill including skills development, rehearsal, and performance, for personal pleasure, confidence building, a creative outlet, and a chance to meet new likeminded people.

Course 1 21st September 2021 to week beginning November 30th 2021.
Course 2 18th January 2022 to week beginning 29th March 2022.
Course 3 26th April 2022 to week beginning 05th July 2022 and is purposefully focused on the wellbeing value of exciting, challenging, and creative Performing. It is also intended to offer a creative distraction from the vicissitudes of the pandemic world we currently live in.
