What do I need to apply
To do this course you should have...
It is expected that anyone entering this course will normally possess a minimum level 3 qualification in their own area of specialism and a level 2 in English & Maths or be working towards achievement of NQF level 2 in mathematics/numeracy.
Prior to enrolment, original certificates are required to be seen and verified along with a copy of the applicants most recent enhanced DBS certificate.
There is also a requirement for a minimum of 50 hours teaching practice for both years of the course.

If you are not from an English Language speaking country, you will need to have a minimum of UKVI IELTS 6.0. Course content
Course Content
This course covers topics such as behaviour management, Equality and Diversity, curriculum development, theories and principles of learning plus more besides.
During the course there is an expectation of the following:
· Leaners will have an initial assessment of literacy, numeracy and ICT
· There will be 120 guided learning hours and 420 self-directed study hours
· The learner will receive tutorial support throughout the course
