If you are over 16 and out of education/training/work and are unsure about your future, then this programme is ideal for getting your life back on track. On the Access to Further Education course, we will help you rebuild your confidence in an educational setting and enable you to gain a qualification.

You can build your employability skills and start to develop a Personal Development Portfolio as well as learn/develop IT skills.

What the course leads to

What courses can I do after this? 

On successful completion and subject to availability, you could progress onto the next stage of the A2FE programme which is the Level 1 Diploma in Progression.  Alternatively, you could progress onto another FE course within the College.

What do I need to apply

To do this course you should have... 

There are no specific requirements but you must be over the age of 16 and be able to attend college for 12 hours each week for 9 weeks.
