if you are over 16 and out of education/training/work and are unsure about your future, then this programme is ideal to get your life back on track, help rebuild your confidence in an educational setting and enable you to gain a qualification.

The course is the 2nd stage of the A2FE programme and you will have already successfully completed stage 1 of the Access to Further Education. As part of the programme we will help you to match your personal interests with a relevant suitable course/vocation. This is particularly ideal if you wish to change career direction or have a strong interest in a specific subject/field.

There are no specific entry requirements but you must be over 16 years old and able to attend college for 12 hours each week.

  • There will be 120 guided learning hours
  • You will recieve tutorial support throughout the course
  • Identify vocational options and match skills to careers/courses
  • Research your ideal job or career opportunity in a chosen or preferred field.
  • Preparation for moving forwards onto other mainstream courses
  • Basic Skills Assessment (English and Maths)
