Fine dining at The College
Enjoy a gourmet dining experience in the world renowned Escoffier Restaurant at the Lansdowne Bournemouth.
The Escoffier Training Restaurant provides you with a dining experience in a relaxing and unique style, with menus designed to give you access to an eclectic array of dishes using many ingredients from local producers. Run by catering and hospitality students, and an experienced lecturing team, The Escoffier offers top quality food and service and opens both at lunch time, with a three course lunch menu, and three evenings a week serving more formal gourmet and theme menus. Our operational term dates for 2023/2024 are as follows:
- Autumn Term 2023 - Tuesday 31st October to Thursday 14th December.
- Spring Term 2024 - Tuesday 9th January to Thursday 28th March (closed for half term, week beginning 12th February)
- Summer Term 2024 - Tuesday 16th April to Thursday 14th June (closed for half term, week beginning 27th May)
Lunch is served Tuesday to Thursday from 11.45am and evenings every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 6.45pm.
Please note that due to student and staff timetable requirements, at lunchtime we kindly ask if customers depart by 2pm. For dinner, we ask if customers to please depart by 9.30pm to ensure students' are finished by 10.00pm, and their safe travel home.
ALL bookings require a £5 per person deposit to secure reservations.

We will not be publishing the menus in advance. If you would like more information, please telephone nearer the time of your reservation.
Four course Christmas lunches including coffee and petit fours will be available throughout December at the price of £22 per person.
Eight course Christmas dinners including coffee and petit fours will be available throughout December at the price of £32 per person.
Full payment is required to secure any Christmas bookings please.
We are located at Bournemouth & Poole College's Lansdowne site in central Bournemouth. Take the Meyrick Road exit from the Lansdowne roundabout where the College's main entrance is situated.
Please note: There is no on site parking.
