Our facilities reflect our vocational specialist areas and include Engineering, Marine (New for 2012) Motor Vehicle, Sustainable Technologies (New for 2013) and Building Services workshops and equipment; Film and Photography studios; Jellicoe Theatre; nurseries, commercial food outlets; Hair and Beauty salons; science laboratories and a Digital Design Centre with state of the art motion capture, scanning, rapid-prototyping and CAD technologies. You will get a free consultation with a BE Skills Advisor to establish your business needs. If there is not a suitable off-the-shelf product to meet your needs we will work with you to produce a tailored solution. This can be as simple as converting a standard course using your own business terminology, people and processes to a brand new course developed for you.

Our Business Sector Forums give us the opportunity to listen to employers who in turn help us shape and modernise our provision to improve the employability of our students. Local business partners are supporting our staff and students to provide work placements and professional updating opportunities, mock interviews, talks and tours and they provide real-life student projects.
