Construction & Building Trades

Supporting a skilled workforce

A skills shortage within the UK construction industry indicates that new recruits will be needed year on year as the industry expands and modernises and its skilled workers retire.

The sector encompasses a huge variety of businesses from the self-employed plumber to national house builders. It is a fast moving industry that offers many jobs to both men and women.

From the ground up, The Bournemouth and Poole College provides high quality relevant qualifications and skills training in purpose-built, fully equipped environments run by qualified, knowledgeable trainers who have first hand industry experience.
