The Bournemouth & Poole College is toasting its best ever return for A Level results with a 100% pass rate. It’s an improvement on last year’s numbers, and a breakdown of the figures shows that 66% achieved A to C grades and 37% were in the A* to B range.

Parkstone mum Kate Wedge has completed a research project to help scientists understand why the lake in her local park becomes clogged with algae in the summer. The algae can be toxic to animals and a nuisance to people using the lake for water sports.
It has been a long journey for a group of Financial Service Apprentices at the Bournemouth head office of LV=, but they have been rewarded with their certificates after a successful two year Apprenticeship programme delivered in partnership with The Bournemouth & Poole College.
