A new era of dining, hospitality and culinary creativity begins, as the new Escoffier Fine Dining Restaurant open its doors once again on Tuesday 6 October.

Set within the college’s exciting new £37 million Department for Education (DfE) rebuild, the newly relaunched Escoffier promises to be far more than a place to eat. It will be a showcase for emerging culinary talent, a stage upon which students can hone their craft, and a destination where guests can savour beautifully prepared food in an impressive new setting.

The reopening marks an important milestone in the college’s transformation. The new 66-person Escoffier restaurant provides students with a modern, professional environment in which to develop the culinary, hospitality and front-of-house skills that will shape their future careers.

And, from October, members of the public will have the opportunity to take their seats and experience the results for themselves.

Where talent meets the table

At the heart of Escoffier is a simple but exciting idea: giving students the opportunity to take the skills they have developed in the kitchen and bring them to life in front of real diners.

Every plate served and every guest welcomed represents another opportunity for students to refine their craft, build confidence and experience the rhythm and theatre of professional hospitality.

The restaurant’s reopening is therefore a celebration not only of food, but of learning, ambition and opportunity — all within the remarkable surroundings created by the college’s new £37 million Department for Education rebuild.
