Celebrity hairdresser, Lee Stafford, has officially opened a new training academy at Bournemouth and Poole College.
He cut the ribbon on the first Lee Stafford Hair Academy in the south west, which is based at the Lansdowne site of the College, with the help of Diane Grannell, principal, and Suzy Parkinson, learning manager for hair and beauty.
Lee Stafford has gained national recognition for TV appearances, as well as his own high street brand bright pink haircare product range sold in Boots.
The Bournemouth & Poole College is wishing to educate adults about the benefits of returning to education to gain further qualifications at its open event on Wednesday September 27 from 4pm.
It has been proven that learning new skills creates new career opportunities that might not have been available before. Learning empowers adults and helps them achieve their aspirations and career goals. Returning to education also demonstrates to employers that you are willing to work and can easily adapt to new environments.
