NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning
If you are volunteering or employed as a Teaching Assistant in a school or college, this 10 month course will provide an understanding of the knowledge and skills needed when working in a supervised role with children and young people.
There are 11 units including equality and diversity, safeguarding and effective learning environments.
NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning
If you have been working as a Teaching Assistant or volunteering in a school or college for over a year, with a high level of responsibility, then this 12 month course is for you. It includes 16 units covering all aspects of specialist support including planning, delivering and assessment for learning, special needs and disabilities, the use of IT in the learning environment, bilingual support and personal development and reflective practice.
NCFE CACHE Level 4 Certificate for the Advanced Practitioner in Schools and College
This 12 month course aims to provide professional development opportunities for practitioners already working within a school or college. This qualification will embrace the wealth of experience, proven knowledge and skills of the learner in a teaching and learning environment. There are 5 units including working with families and professionals, implementing change, and promoting children and young people to improve mental health and wellbeing.
