Bournemouth & Poole College are proud to share that six of their apprentices were finalists for Dorset Apprenticeship Awards, and one, Cameron Hearn, was named Advanced Apprentice of the Year! 

At a celebratory awards lunch, awards were presented by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Dorset on behalf of Her Majesty at Superior Seals Training Academy in Ferndown.

Bournemouth & Poole College are proud to share some fantastic achievements of their Level 2 Hair Professional Apprentices. 
 
The current apprentices are all working with salons in the area surrounding Bournemouth & Poole, and have excelled in their studies, even throughout the pandemic. The College are pleased to share that every apprentice that completed their program have gone on to pass their challenging six-hour practical exam with City & Guilds. Astoundingly, half of these have earned a Distinction!

An exciting large-scale short film project that has involved over 60 students on Bournemouth & Poole College’s fantastic UAL Level 3 Diploma in Creative Media Production and Technology course is coming to a close this week with the premiere of a fantastic short-film.

Bournemouth & Poole College are pleased to share that Spencer Metzger, a previous student of our catering and hospitality courses, was named The Great British Menu Champion of Champions 2022 on BBC2.

Spencer wowed the judges with TV themed dishes, including 'Be Careful What You Fish For', based on Sherlock Holmes, and main course 'First Impressions', based on Pride and Prejudice.

We know our course announcement earlier ruffled a few feathers – sadly our Seagull Studies course was just an April Fools prank!
