- There will be no fee for entry
- One piece of work can be entered per entrant
- For individual submission, please enter age at 15th July 2022. This is to help identify correct categories
- Once submitted the entry piece of artwork cannot be changed or amended and then re-entered or substituted for another piece of artwork.
- Original Artwork limited to a maximum display size of A1
- Artwork can be created in any media either 2D or 3D, painting, drawing, photography, illustration, moving image and other visual art specialisms
- All entries must first be submitted as a 300dpi digital photo or jpeg (or MP4 if moving image) and emailed via the competition web site
- Pictures taken of artwork must well lit, clear and in focus and capture the whole image/artwork you have created.
- We will not accept original artworks of any kind in the first submission but it is advised that you keep the original. If you are selected as a prize winner we will need the artwork for display purposes
- Content must be acceptable for viewing by the general public of all ages. If content is deemed unacceptable or inappropriate we reserve the right not to show or select it
- The judges decisions are final as are the decisions that decide short listing
- Those entrants who are shortlisted but do not win first second or third prizes will receive notable mentions and be featured in a digital presentation
- All work submitted must be original and created by the person submitting the work
- Entries that have been plagiarized in anyway will automatically be disqualified
- If displayed, for insurance purposes, entrants will be asked to provide an estimated value of your artwork. Whilst artwork will be insured, Bournemouth & Poole College are not responsible for any damage to artwork.
All entrants must be:
- Resident in Dorset at the time of the submission deadline
- Be within the age range of the relevant prize category they are entering at the time of the submission deadline
- To ensure fairness and impartiality the competitions are not open to current Bournemouth & Poole College employees (including family members) or past employees (from five years at the point of submission deadline)
