Employment in related industry, freelance or a counter service, Nail Technician in a commercial setting.
To do this course you should have...
Sucessful completion of industry related Level 2 qualification (in hair/make-up/beauty) and a minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths grades 9-4 (formerly A*-C) or a Level 2 Functional Skill in English and Maths.
If you do not posess industry related qualifications, then we would recommend you completing some work experience in a salon/counter service before the start of the program (and ideally during).

You will also need to wear flat black enclosed shoes (no trainers). You will also need to wear smart black trousers (no leggings or jeans)
Subjects studied include:
- Nail Art & enhancements (Acrylics, Gel polish)
- Promote and Sale of Products
- Client Care and Consultation
- Health & Safety of treatments
Students must be prepared to work on each other and experience all procedures listed above, and work on paying clients as part of the assessment process.
September Hours of attendance and start date will be confirmed at interview or enrolment. It is likely to be one evening a week (5.30-9.30pm)
