Students Launch Festive Pop-Up Shop

A group of Fine Art students from Bournemouth and Poole College are preparing to launch a unique pop-up shop, giving the public the chance to purchase original, handcrafted items inspired by their own artwork. The temporary shop will be open from Saturday 6 December to Thursday 11 December, operating daily between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM at Gather in the Dolphin Centre, Poole.

The pop-up will feature a diverse range of art-led products, including prints, stationery, textiles, handcrafted gifts, and one of a kind pieces. Every item has been designed, produced, and curated by the students, reflecting both their creative skill and growing entrepreneurial confidence.

College staff have praised the students’ dedication in transforming their studio work into professionally presented products ready for the marketplace. They describe the project as a celebration of emerging talent and an opportunity for the community to experience the high standard of creativity being developed at the college.

Members of the public are invited to explore the collection, meet the artists, and learn more about the ideas behind the work. With the festive season approaching, the pop-up shop also offers a timely chance to find distinctive, meaningful gifts unavailable anywhere else.
