Staff ‘Good Eggs’ for Easter 2024
Staff were invited to nominate their colleagues for ‘Good Eggs’ in the run-up to the Easter break. All staff were invited via Teamhub: “You can nominate someone for any reason, it could be to welcome them into your team, to thank them for always remembering to bring teabags, for brightening your day, or just because you think they deserve some chocolate!”
In total, just over 100 eggs were given out and everyone who nominated a Good Egg was entered into a draw for a very special ‘luxury’ egg – our two lucky winners of the luxury eggs were Anne Biggs and Jasmine Pinder.
Jasmine, Inclusion Lead in the People and Student Experience Team said: “It was great to be the winner of the Hotel Chocolat egg from the raffle. It was lovely to feel for a moment, that I had won something really nice.”
Winner of one of the good eggs, Martin Clark, a Graphic Designer in Marketing said: “I was both surprised and delighted to win a ‘Good Egg.’ It’s nice to know that what you do at work has a positive effect on people and their jobs.”
Other winners of ‘Good Eggs’ this year included Becky Watson in the Student Experience Team, Ashleigh Eden in Marketing, Amanda Duddington (Cafeteria), Jack Spenceley (Digital Education and Learning Environments) and Chantal Rochester (Estates).
