Open Event Summary - 8th May 2025

Our final Open Event of the academic year, held on May 8th 2025 was another resounding success. Our open events are a vital part of our recruitment. They aren't just about tours and talks, but about showcasing the real Bournemouth and Poole College experience: the facilities, the teaching, the support and the career opportunities we offer.

This year, our first full academic year as a team, our target was to build upon last year's momentum and improve upon last year's numbers - and we're extremely thrilled with the results:

✅ 37% increase in Open Event attendees
✅ 12% higher average attendance rate (vs tickets registered)
✅ 91% increase in on-the-day applications
✅ And a 14% increase in the percentage of attendees who applied on-the-day

Of the four Open Events we held during this academic year, we have shaken up our statistics and the results of attendees and on-the-day applications are at an increasing high.
