Carpentry students win Chartered Institute of Builders competition

Bournemouth & Poole College are pleased to announce that 4 teams from Level 2 and 3 Carpentry courses made it to the final of the Chartered Institute of Builders’ competition. The 4 teams, made up of 14 students at The College, were asked to design a house for a family with a disabled child.

The finalists were all invited to present their projects to a panel of 4 judges.

Well done to ‘Dave’s Aston Villas’ - Matt Lawson (Team Leader), Hayden Valentine, Saul West & Finn Wakeling who were named runner up in the competition.

Congratulations to ‘Mark’s Madness’ - Connor Brown (Team Leader), Jade Ames, Ben Robinson & Zak Lawrence who came in first place!
