New Student Welcome 2026

🎉 New Student Welcome - This is an invite only event for offer holders. 

Meet your tutor, have a look around, and enjoy some fun activities (with a few treats along the way) as you get a feel for life at college.

⏰ See below to double check your arrival time. The event will last approximately between 2.5 - 3 hours. 
📩 Once you get your ticket, you will get confirmation of what to bring. 

When you arrive, we’ll take you to your course area for a relaxed, interactive session where you’ll: meet your tutor, find out what your course is really like and try out a fun activity.

After that, grab some lunch (on us 🙌) and check out the activities and entertainment around campus.

🍦 Want extras like ice cream? Bring a bit of cash just in case.

Feeling a bit nervous? Totally normal. Our friendly Student Support Team will be around all day if you need anything.

Yes, New Student Welcome is an invite only event for offer holders, and you will need a ticket in order to attend the event. You don't need to print, it, just bring your QR code with you on your phone.

Where is the event? 
Whether your course is based at our Poole, Bournemouth or Fulcrum Campus, this event will take place at our Poole Campus (North Road, Poole, BH14 0LS) bringing everyone together for one fantastic celebration.

Is New Student Welcome the same as enrolment? 
No, New Student Welcome is not the same as enrolment. 
New Student Welcome is an optional event for offer holders to attend as a chance to find out more about the college, meet tutors and future classmates, and take part in a range of fun activities and entertainment. Enrolment takes place in August and is a compulsory step for all offer holders who wish to join the college. Offer holders must attend enrolment to officially secure their place, provided they have met the conditions of their offer.
