Introduction:

The Bournemouth University Media School has developed this top-up Honours degree to provide a progression route for students completing the Foundation Degree in Multimedia, although applicants from other programmes are also encouraged.

The emphasis of this degree is to empower students with critical knowledge and skills to hone their professional and academic understanding to the level required for an Honours degree. The programme content has been influenced by the Bournemouth Media School's successful track record of delivering vocational study at this level, which the Media industry recognises as empowering students with essential skills for employment.

Bournemouth & Poole College offers excellent facilities and knowledgeable technical staff to support practical work in the different specialist routes. Facilities include studios and labs with industry-standard software and hardware. Residential sessions at the Bournemouth Media School provide Master classes from visiting professionals, opportunities for cross-college collaboration on projects, and dissertation supervision.

Entry Requirements:

Successful completion of the FdA Multimedia or an equivalent qualification from similar programmes. Standard undergraduate entry requirements still apply plus the Foundation degree.
