Week 7: Splice/Repair work
Week8: Skirting Exercise
Week 9: Coat Hook/Door Hanging

Perfect for beginners, this course helps you build confidence in carpentry. You’ll cover practical skills such as fitting doors, making small projects, fixing mistakes, and using a variety of tools and fittings.
An interest in carpentry
This course is college-certified and does not lead to a formal awarding body qualification. Successful completion allows progression to our Level 2 evening carpentry qualification course.

The course fee is £395 and covers all materials and tools required. Any projects produced during the course may be taken home.
Learners should wear suitable clothing that may become dirty during practical work. Steel-toe-capped shoes are mandatory and are not supplied by the college.
