Course Overview
You will play a key role in crafting high-quality beverages such as coffee, tea, hot chocolate, smoothies, and juices, while delivering exceptional service. This course focuses on developing the knowledge, expertise, and practical skills required to thrive in this profession as well as developing key competencies to support your broader employability. You will gain qualifications in Business and Retail, Employability and Barista Skills.
Alongside gaining the essential skills and knowledge required to excel as a Barista, you will also develop key competencies to support your broader employability. These include improving your communication and digital skills, as well as receiving guidance and support in creating a professional CV. For individuals who have not achieved GCSE grade 4 /C in Maths and English, we can support you to improve your skills, alongside the course.
This 4-week Job Ready Programme is specifically designed to enhance your skills for a career in the Barista sector, preparing you to excel in this dynamic field. If you are passionate about pursuing a career as a Barista or enjoy the day-to-day responsibilities of this role, this program could be an excellent opportunity for you.
No formal qualifications required but students must be 19+ and must be unemployed or meet the criteria of low paid work
Throughout the course you will study for short accredited qualifications in employability which are assessed through workbooks and observations.
