Department Overview
At Bournemouth and Poole College, you’ll learn in outstanding industry-standard facilities, guided by inspirational lecturers and experienced mentors who are passionate about helping you to succeed. You’ll be training in our commercial outlet, preparing and serving dishes to real customers in a professional environment.
As part of the Compass building, opened in September 2026, we have five new kitchen environments for our students to work in:
Escoffier (Restaurant)
A ‘Fine-dining’ restaurant featuring:
- a main production kitchen;
- a pastry production kitchen;
- a larder with cooking stations;
- Two practical kitchens;
- a larder store.
