The Application Process
Make an Application
Applications open from October for the next academic year. You will need to visit our website and apply online: thecollege.co.uk.
You will need to enter your GCSE predicted grades, which should be available from your current school.
We recommend that you apply early in order to secure your first choice!
If you change your mind, we will accept up to three applications for different courses.
Interview & Offer
From October onwards we hold interviews at the college. For apprenticeships, these may be later in the year. You will be able to book these online on your application portal.
After the interview, if you are successful, you will receive your offer via email.
Don’t worry too much at this stage about the course level. When you receive your GCSE results in August, we will help you to navigate this.
We'll Keep in Touch!
There's nothing further for you to do at this stage.
We will keep in touch with lots of information about what to expect from college life. This might include newsletters, course updates, financial support and enrolment information, as well as key contact information if there are any queries you might have.
You will be invited to attend college at the beginning of July, to meet your fellow students and course tutors.
There will be fun activities, a barbecue and music; an event not to be missed!
GCSE Results
GCSE results are due on Thursday 20th August 2026.
If you don’t get the results you were expecting, we will provide you with all the support and guidance you need.
Grade 4 is a pass in English and Maths. If you don’t get both or only one, don’t worry. We offer a range of courses where you will be able to resit these core subjects alongside your chosen course.
