LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS – Library, Study Spaces, Technology

The Learning Environments sit at the very heart of learning at Bournemouth and Poole College, providing our students with access to the resources, study spaces, and technology essential to their success.

Delve into your essential resources: As well as a large physical library collection consisting of thousands of books, the Learning Environments provide access to an extensive virtual library of e-books, journal articles, video content, and interactive media. All of our digital resources are available to students in College, at home, or on the move, ensuring students are never more than a few clicks away from essential information.

Find your ideal study space: Within the Learning Environments, students can choose to study in our open-access areas or our bookable study rooms and pods, perfect for quiet study, or for collaborative group work.

Access innovative technology: The Learning Environments provide access to essential technology, including PCs and laptops, enabling students to work flexibly around campus and in class. At our Poole campus Learning Environment students can step into their studies in our innovative immersive classroom, bringing their subjects to life with interactive wrap-around projections.

Here to help: Our friendly and knowledgeable team are here to support students and staff with any queries you may have. We also provide study skills support in a range of topics, including referencing, researching, and academic writing, equipping students with the essential skills they need to begin and continue their course with confidence.
