Get hands-on with industry-standard equipment, including 3D printers, robotics and specialist labs for electronic design and prototyping, helping you turn concepts into reality.
You’ll train in realistic clinical and care environments, using advanced simulation technology and hospital standard equipment, including blood pressure trolleys and hydraulic beds, to build the skills and confidence you need for a career in healthcare. The Health Simulation Suite contains a three-bed hospital room, with cabinets, curtains, trolleys and a drugs cabinet, that duplicates real-world settings.
Perform and produce in a professional 135-capcity theatre setting, complete with an advanced Congo Jnr. lighting rig with automated lighting, DigiCo SD9 sound desk, digital high-definition AV mixing and broadcasting equipment, five rehearsal studios and full backstage and dressing facilities, with a Green Room with live relay.
You’ll create your own animations using professional cameras, industry-standard software and specialist model-making tools in a dedicated studio environment. The state-of-the-art suite comprises eight individual studio spaces, each fitted with professional lighting rigs, Canon mirrorless cameras and laptops running Dragonframe, the market-leading stop motion software trusted by studios, including Aardman.
Record and produce in a professional-grade studio, featuring industry-standard mixing desks, a large format recording console- (24-channel, 8-bus), Mixacube monitors and displays. audio interfaces, vocal booths and live recording spaces. Studio 1 has a vocal booth within the control room and a 40 square meter live room with a separate drum booth. It also has four other recording studios, 2 Tech Suites and an excellent selection of microphones and synthesisers.
