Studying Part-Time

Studying Part-Time

A flexible way to study to fit around you.

You might choose a Part-Time course because you need to refresh your industry skills for work, want to try something new, move up the career ladder or enhance your CV. Whatever your reason, a Part-Time course offers a flexible way to learn and can fit around you and your commitments.

Courses can range from professional to technical and include everything from Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) and Gas Installation through to DIY techniques and first aid. They can last for as little as one day or as long as two years and they’re particularly suitable for adults looking to return to education or wanting to develop their work skills and knowledge.

What does study involve?

The amount of study required will depend on the course you choose. If you’re studying a professional or technical qualification you can expect to have coursework as well as exams, but if you’re doing a hobby-based course then that’s what it is – a hobby. There typically won’t be any exams and you will usually receive a certificate of achievement at the end.
