Career:

Having gained a Sports Science Degree, Mark started his career working in Health Clubs, including being a Duty Manager at Marlborough Leisure Centre.

During his 20’s, Mark started and ran his own events company, organising 32 Triathlon and Endurance Sports events throughout Southern England. Being the early days of triathlon, the events were ground breaking, innovative and involved multi-agency help from the emergency services, local authorities and land owners.

Mark spent many years ‘training the trainers’ as a manager and teacher for Premier Training, teaching courses for Fitness Instructors and Personal Trainers.

More recently, Mark owned and ran his own Personal Training Studio in Bournemouth, where he dealt mainly with clients wishing to lose weight. Many clients had great success, including one who lost 8.5 stones and completely transformed every aspect of his life.

Mark still competes regularly in cycling, running and endurance events. At age 46 he completed a 5k run in 17:47, at age 47 a 2000m row in 6:59 and a 10mile cycle TT in 22:51.
