Chris studied a BA (Hons) in Drama, Television and Theatre at King Alfreds College, Winchester and later obtained his PGCE from Portsmouth University.
Chris started his career as a Community Theatre practitioner delivering performance projects in places such as prisons, drug rehabilitation centres and working for a various charities that support the homeless community. At the same time Chris created his own theatre company that produced contemporary theatre shows as well as Theatre in Education and Children’s Theatre performance projects. Chris now works primarily as a director, creating shows for Bournemouth & Poole College and external companies and venues. In recent years he has directed numerous productions including; Oedipus, Earthquakes in London, Girls Like That, All My Sons, Shakers, Bouncers, The Crucible and The Wonderful World of Dissocia.
Chris’ specialisms are in Devising, Children’s Theatre and Contemporary Theatre Performance and he teaches across all levels and pathways at Bournemouth & Poole College as well has being a personal tutor for a range of different student groups.
