Gas ACS - Refresher Training in Core Natural Gas Safety
In brief...
This covers training in gas safety related areas, specifically installation, exchange, disconnection, service, repair and commission of domestic gas appliances and equipment.
This course is to revise the knowledge and skills of gas operatives in accordance with the health and safety legislation and conformity with the European Standard EN45013.
What courses can I do after this?
On completion of this training you will be able to apply for assessment for CCN1 and then to Gas Safe for registration subject to your current certification.
In addition you may wish to consider Natural Gas (NG) and Liquid Petrolium gas (LPG) assessment and training where appropriate in:
- CKR1 (Cookers)
- DAH1 (Warm Air)
- CENWAT1 (Boilers/water heaters)
- HTR1 (Fires and wall heaters)
- MET1 (meters)
- CONGLP1 (NG to LPG Core Gas Safety Changeover)
- HTRLP2 (LPG Appliances)
- LPG for Boats is also available.
To do this course you should have...
To apply for this training you must satisfy the BPEC criteria.
You must provide information to the assessment centre regarding your gas industry experience and qualifications, this will include the ACS registration card indicating expiry dates.
