Gas ACS - LPG Boats Assessment - Initial
In brief...
An assessment of the individual’s competence in gas safety related areas, specifically installation, exchange, disconnection, service, repair and commission of marine based LPG appliances and equipment.
This course is to test the knowledge and skills of gas operatives in accordance with the health and safety legislation and conformity with the European Standard EN45013.
What courses can I do after this?
On completion of this assessment you will be able to apply to Gas Safe for registration subject to your current certification.
In addition you may wish to consider assessment and training where appropriate in:
- CKR1 (Cookers)
- DAH1 (Warm Air)
- CENWAT1 (Boilers/water heaters)
- HTR1 (Fires and wall heaters)
- MET1 (meters)
- HTRLP2 (LPG Appliances)
To do this course you should have...
To apply for this assessment you must satisfy the BPEC criteria and hold the CCLP1 or CoNGLP1.
You must provide information to the assessment centre regarding your gas industry experience and qualifications on the BPEC Application for Assessment form.

Associated Costs
The BPEC Registration fee of £55 is required only if this assessment is carried out on its own. This fee is a one off payment, any additional ACS assessments booked at the same time will not be subject to this charge.
