Gas ACS - CCN1: NG Core Gas Safety Assessment - Renewal
In brief...
An assessment of the individual’s competence in gas safety related areas, specifically installation, exchange, disconnection, service, repair and commission of domestic gas appliances and equipment.
This assessment is to test the knowledge and skills of gas operatives in accordance with the health and safety legislation and conformity with the European Standard EN45013.
What courses can I do after this?
On completion of this assessment you will be able to apply to Gas Safe for registration subject to your current certification.
In addition you may wish to consider training and assessment where appropriate in:
- CKR1 (Cookers)
- DAH1 (Warm Air)
- CENWAT1 (Boilers/water heaters)
- HTR1 (Fires and wall heaters)
- MET1 (Meters)
- CONGLP1 (NG to LPG Core Gas Safety Changeover)
- HTRLP2 (LPG Appliances)
- LPG for Boats is also available.
To do this course you should have...
To apply for this assessment you must satisfy the BPEC criteria and hold the CCN1 issued not more than 6 years prior.
You must provide information to the assessment centre regarding your gas industry experience and qualifications, this will include the ACS registration card indicating expiry dates.
