"I have always had a passion for Photography but it wasn’t until I went on maternity leave that I had the time and motivation to do something new.
I enrolled on the Level 1 Photography course as it offered the practical and business elements that I was looking for and at a time and location that suited me.
Both the Level 1 and Level 2 courses have been fantastic so far and have given me something to focus on which is completely different to my normal day-to-day job as a mum. I get to use a part of my brain that is really creative and keeps me motivated and busy.
"...as a busy mum, the course has given me the opportunity to work at my own pace and build a business for the future."
I wasn’t able to go back to work part-time in my previous role so I decided to take the leap and make a career out of photography. I now have my own studio at home and work with clients to produce beautiful family photographs and I absolutely love it! It’s a really flexible career that I can take at my own pace and fit around my life.
The course tutors are brilliant as well. They are all professional photographers themselves who’ve had successful careers so they’ve always got lots of insider information that you wouldn’t get from a ‘how-to’ YouTube video! They give you really sound professional advice about how you can continue to grow and improve your technique and are quick to give you praise for great work."
