When the original host venue had to be changed at two weeks’ notice due to circumstances beyond their control, The Chefs’ Forum team had to act quickly to ensure that the students from two catering colleges received the promised day of employer-led work experience that had been in the diary for the last six months.

Bournemouth & Poole College has become the first education provider in the UK to boast an official CrossFit affiliate box.
The College has received CrossFit affiliation and now has its own CrossFit box featuring a range of equipment for the benefit of students and staff. The gym, which is based at the Bournemouth site, has been named Arbitrium CrossFit and now forms part of the Sport and Uniformed Public Services department.

Teflon™ non-stick coatings is delighted to announce the launch of its 2020 Diamond Standard Awards for amateur chefs of all ages. The cookery competition offers the chance for non-professional cooks to gain recognition for their cooking ability at home and for those attending school and catering college the opportunity to showcase what they’ve learnt.

Around 100 people attended a presentation evening at Bournemouth & Poole College to celebrate the completion of the Applied Science student project, which saw them undertake the exhumation of graves in the grounds adjacent to the former United Reformed Church in Pokesdown.
