The Metstrade Boat Builder Awards look to highlight the achievements made within the maritime industry and also to highlight the successes of the top talent produced within apprenticeships. The programme received this praise for its outstanding opportunities for individuals looking to enter the maritime manufacturing sector as well as the progression and advancement opportunities that are provided to their apprentices.
Sunseeker are an internationally recognised manufacturer of Luxury Yachts which was originally founded in the Poole area. Hundreds of apprentices have been placed at Sunseeker over the years of their partnership with Bournemouth & Poole College.
Bournemouth & Poole College operate 3 apprenticeships working with Sunseeker which cover a range of interests within the industry. Offering everything from Boat Building Composites and Wood Trades to Marine Electrical Engineering and Engines and Propulsion Engineering, there are a fantastic range of opportunities available.
