Free beginner ESOL courses for Ukrainian Refugees

Bournemouth & Poole College are proud to launch free beginner English for Speakers of Other Languages courses for Ukrainian refugees who have arrived in the area due to the current invasion.

The course lasts for 5 days and is 100% free for Ukrainian refugees. It takes place at The College’s Lansdowne Campus in Bournemouth. The course, aimed at beginners with minimal English skills, will focus on essential communication skills including conversations, form filling and an introduction to life in the UK.

Vanessa McMullen, ESOL Learning Manager at Bournemouth & Poole College, said, “Doing what we can as a college to help Ukrainian refugees is important to all the team here. Offering the free ESOL course is a real privilege and will help Ukrainians who have been displaced by war embed themselves within the local area as best as possible.”

People interested in the course can email Kenny at esol@bpc.ac.uk for more information and to enrol.
