Former Hairdressing student inspires the next generation

Wing delivered a training session at the college

Former student Wing showed the current students at Bournemouth & Poole College how successful you can be if you follow your dreams when he came into the college to deliver a training session.

He showed the students various cutting and styling techniques, and described how a lot of his inspiration comes from London. He explained that he walks around the city so he can see what the latest street style is like. He looks at the clothes people wear, their look and the colours, he then incorporates what he sees into his own style of hairdressing.

Wing explained his job role, and how he was grateful to the college for starting him on his journey.

“Thanks go out for my training at Level 2, 3 and 4 in Hairdressing at Bournemouth & Poole College. I am now an International Educator at Toni & Guy Shanghai, specifically for the in-house training of the foundation cutting and the newest collection from Toni & Guy Academy London. I am also a Style Director in the salon.”

“I represent myself to teach outside the salon. I am freelance and therefore open to public enquiries for employment. That means that when other salons need to upgrade their techniques or get some new inspiration they will contact me. I call my course "International Master Class especially for Cutting".
