Exciting international opportunities for creative students through the Turing Scheme

The Turing Scheme is organised by the government to provide international opportunities for education and training across the world. Bournemouth & Poole College are pleased to take part in the Turing Scheme and have a number of exciting opportunities for students.

The exciting international visits will offer opportunities for students to visit Dublin, Valencia or Seville in the first year. These visits will offer opportunities for students to visit galleries, museums, workshops and shows.

Seperate to the Turing Scheme, The College has also planned a New York trip for HE and Foundation Students across Creative industries. The New York trip, scheduled to take place in February 2022, will include subject specific activities – Broadway Shows, theatre workshops, gigs, museums and gallery visits.

The benefits of travel related to study are huge. Gain transferable skills – communication, curiosity and critical-thinking. Develop language skills. Improve cognitive skills, memory and creativity. That’s without even mentioning the international network of friends you could make, alongside some fantastic memories!

Bournemouth & Poole College look forward to engaging with the Turing Scheme for years to come, organising international study opportunities wherever possible.
