Bournemouth & Poole College Student Union Awarded for Green Impact

Bournemouth & Poole College Student Union are proud to have been recognised for their work towards sustainability with a Very Good Award from NUS Green Impact. This national award recognises the hard work the Student Union and Student Executive Team have put in this year in green impact.

Brian Stewart, Student Engagement Coordinator, is very proud of the award and said, “I am delighted that BPCSU has now been acknowledged for the hard work that has taken place over the past couple of years from both staff and students. Being the only FE Students Union to achieve this recognition this year is a huge achievement for our students, our college and our staff. We have had such a great year for green impact and we will strive to challenge ourselves even further in years to come.”

Brian went on to say, “We are here for our students and one thing I have learned this year is that our students are very green minded. They want us to challenge thinking about the environment and they want to make changes that make a difference. Here at BPCSU we will always listen to our students and we will strive for excellence every time.”
