Bournemouth & Poole College lecturer awarded with certificate of excellence at Pearson National Teaching Awards

The College are proud to share that Chris Tucker, lecturer in Creative Industries, has been awarded with a certificate of excellence at the Pearson National Teaching Awards. This recognises Chris’ contributions to The College as an excellent teacher and the impact this has on our students.

In a letter to Chris from Pearson National Teaching Awards President and Children’s Author, Michael Morpurgo wrote: “I am writing to you to congratulate you and to thank you... You open doors, shine a light. You spend your working life passing on to children all that you know and love. Your dedication to them, to colleagues and to the school you work in has been extraordinary.”

Principal of Bournemouth & Poole College, Phil Sayles, echoed this: “Chris’ work at The College has been paramount in the education of so many young people.
