Art and Design students selected to exhibit work in London

Two Art and Design students from Bournemouth & Poole College have been selected to exhibit their work in the OXO Tower in London.

The work, which will be on display to the public, 2-5 August, was selected by a professional curator from over 340 entries across the country.

Pat Moores and Katie Owen’s work will be included as part of the Origins Creative Arts Festival which showcases a selection of the finest art, design, fashion, creative media, and music and music-based performing arts compositions produced by students completing further education qualifications at UAL approved institutions across the UK.

The festival will showcase an exciting range of painting, drawing, sculpture, video and fashion, complemented by a program of music and performing arts, all created and performed by pre-degree level students. This event will be the first time that the UAL Awarding Body will showcase work from all subject disciplines at one event.

The exhibition will also be open to the public on the following days and is free to attend:

·         Friday 3 August, 11am–6pm

·         Saturday 4 August, 11am–6pm

·         Sunday 5 July, 11am–5pm
