My Apprenticeship has helped build my confidence in the workplace!

I work in the Marketing department at the College as a Level 3 Business Administration apprentice. After I finished my A Levels I liked the idea of going straight into work and found the idea of an Apprenticeship appealing. It would help me get relevant work experience and I would get paid at the same time.

My Apprenticeship course has really helped develop my business knowledge and I have learned a whole range of administrative skills. It has also helped me gain useful IT skills which I have been able to put into practice at work too. Working for the College has also helped build my confidence in the workplace, especially learning how to work effectively with the Marketing team and other departments. I enjoy the responsibility I am given and really feel like a valued and important member of the team.

I have enjoyed working with my tutors and colleagues. When I joined I was welcomed into the team and I have been given a lot of support along the way.

I think being an apprentice has really helped prepare me for future work. The confidence and experience I have gained will prove to be a huge stepping stone on my path to a successful career.
