Air Cabin Crew & Ground Operations
City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma Course. Full time, 2 terms
There are many interesting and exciting career opportunities within the airline industry. This Air Cabin Crew and Ground Operations course will give you status to seek employment as a member of air cabin crew or other hospitality industries such as cruise line staff, luxury trains and ground crew work.
This qualification is equivalent to 5 GCSEs, is widely recognised by industry and taught within a grade 1, award winning department.

BTEC/EDEXCEL UAL Level 3 Diploma. Full time, 2 years
This is a practical Level 3 course for students with a real enthusiasm for art and design who are seeking a career in this growing and exciting industry. This course is ideal if you wish to experience a wide range of art and design disciplines before specialising in a subject pathway.
The course covers both practical and vocational skills in art and design and has a rigorous academic focus. You will learn by completing assignments based on realistic workplace activities and live briefs and have the opportunity to visit art and design exhibitions, museums and galleries related to various aspects of the course. You will be continuously assessed through your course work which includes practical and written assignments. Throughout the course you will be creating a portfolio of work in your chosen pathway.
Upon successful completion of this course most students progress on to Higher Education (degree or HND in their chosen area of study).

Beauty and Spa Therapies
City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma Course. Full time, 1 year
This advanced course is an excellent progression from a Level 2 or equivalent beauty therapy qualification. You will improve your beauty therapy skills on both a practical and academic level during this course, as well as expanding and developing your business awareness.
Working in our public salons you will gain valuable experience in offering a professional salon service, including customer care, client consultation and professional treatments in a realistic working environment.

BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma. Full time, 2 years
The two year BTEC Extended Diploma which is equivalent to 3 A levels consists of 12 units; of which 6 will be completed in the first year and 6 in the second year. It is suitable if you have an interest in Business and Management and would welcome the opportunity to study a broad based, vocational programme.
The suite of BTEC Diplomas is valued by employers and can lead to careers in business specialisms such as Finance, Human Resources, Management or Marketing as well as other business related careers.
BTEC/EDEXCEL Level 3 Diploma. Full time, 2 years
The course is suitable for learners wanting to progress to higher education in Computing, Computer Science or related degrees, an apprenticeship, or seek employment in the computer industry with opportunities for further part-time study.
Suitability for the full two-year Extended Diploma will be assessed upon successful completion of the first year.

Creative Media Production and Technology
University Arts London (UAL) Level 3 Diploma. Full time, 2 years
This course combines all aspects of media including Video, Audio, Animation and 3D along with media industries and Photography. At the end of the first year you will achieve a UAL Diploma in Creative Media and Technology with the option to enrol onto the Extended Diploma (Year 2)
You will study a mix of practical and theory across the course. For example, you’ll learn how to master the art of film making, recording, editing and mixing sound for video production techniques such as ADR and Foley, creating sound effects, using professional microphones and industry standard software. As well as how to analyse the work of other film makers.
On successful completion of this course you could progress to Higher Education with The College’s own Visual Effects HNC/D or to employment in a wide range of industries including television, radio, print and media technologies, public relations or marketing.
Electrical / Electronic
BTEC/EDEXCEL Level 3 Extended Diploma. Full time, 2 years
A two-year full-time course covering the skills and knowledge required for learners to progress to employment within the engineering sector and which also meets entry requirements in its own right for learners wanting to progress to higher education in engineering and related degrees.
On successful completion you could progress to full-time higher education for a degree or seek employment/apprenticeship as a technician in the electronics industry with opportunities for further part-time study on an HNC/Foundation Degree.

Hospitality and Events
BTEC/EDEXCEL Level 3 Diploma. Full time, 2 years
This course is designed for ambitious, dedicated students who wish to develop themselves and enjoy working as part of a dynamic team, and who aim to pursue a career in supervision, management, events or run their own hospitality business.
Progression from year one is subject to successful completion of all units, work placement, as well as tutor recommendation. Successful completion of this course will enable you to progress to trainee/assistant management positions within the hospitality industry, or progress at The College on to a Level 4 Apprenticeship in Hospitality or a Foundation Degree in Culinary Arts or another Higher Education provider.
Past students have gone on to great success within the industry, such as Event Management, Mixology, Ski Chalet Hosts, Head Chefs, Degree in International Hotel Management, Food & Beverage Management, and Restaurateurs.

Come and study IT with the successful EVIT Team who have a range of course which will prepare you for the journey into the exciting and diverse world of IT careers. You’ll gain relevant skills and an IT industry-recognised qualification, giving you the chance to get a job in the sector, go on to Higher Education or do an Apprenticeship. We are always looking to develop new courses to respond to the changing IT requirements within industry so there would be the option for a 3-year programme to gain the maximum depth and breadth of understanding.
This is a very practical, hands-on programme, integrating new and emerging technologies. On successful completion you could progress to employment or an apprenticeship in the ICT industry or continue onto either a second year Level 3 or progress to Higher Education or to an apprenticeship.

Theatrical, Special Effects and Media Make Up Artistry
City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma. Full time, 1 year
This diploma is most suitable for those with a keen sense of colour and creative ability, also an interest in researching and developing make-up design ideas. It covers every aspect of make-up techniques to provide access for film and television work, stage, display and other media purposes.
Working in our public salons and makeup studios you will gain valuable experience in offering a professional salon service, including customer care, client consultation and professional treatments in a realistic working environment. You may have the opportunity to attend a Media and Theatrical make-up show/trade exhibition and also take part in local and national competitions.
Travel and Tourism
City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma. Full time, 1 year
This is an ideal choice if you want to develop your understanding of the tourism industry, together with gaining the practical skills required to prepare you for a career in the tourism industry. This qualification is equivalent to an A Level and is widely recognised by industry and universities. It is taught within a grade 1, award winning department, and has been developed in consultation with employers in the travel and tourism industry so you can be sure of developing relevant skills and knowledge.
There is a very high level of support for this course. Every student will have regular frequent contact with a personal tutor who will coach you through what is required and explain any difficulties. This course also provides a 1 week work placement opportunity within the local travel and tourism industry.
Level 3 Diploma in Women’s Hairdressing. Full time, 1 year
This programme is designed to provide the practical expertise and underpinning knowledge necessary to gain a Level 3 Qualification in hairdressing. You will develop your artistic flair and creativity enabling you to work in the industry using your individual style and skills.
Level 3 Hairdressing is the national qualification to enable you to become a fully qualified Stylist in the Industry.
The programme is delivered by way of practical workshops and demonstrations, theory sessions and guest lectures. As part of your timetable you will attend a weekly commercial session in our Lee Stafford Salons.
