
Term Abroad
Short Course Study alongside UK Students






The Term Abroad programme has been developed to provide International students with a short full-time vocational or academic course.
Venue: Bournemouth or Poole, depending on the programme chosen
Duration: Full-time, one term, or one and a half terms
Timetable: Lessons are spread between Monday-Friday, 9am -5pm
Course dates 1 term: September-December; January-April
Course dates 1½ terms: September-February; January-June
Course level: NQF Level 3
Introduction
The main focus of a short course is to study in English in a UK College alongside local students for a short level 3 programme of either one term or a term and a half, with English Language classes. Students can experience academic study and develop understanding of the specific subject area as well as their English language.
All students will have the support of a personal tutor to guide them through their studies at The College and help with necessary paperwork to validate their reports.
Entry requirements
A Secondary School Report with good grades. Academic IELTS 5.0 or equivalent.
Students will need to be 16 years plus for entry to NQF Level 3 programmes.
