ITS BURLESQUE!! 1st year dancers bring to you a Cabaret show that is set out in a Burlesque Bar in LA, storyline taken from the 2010 Burlesque film starring Christina Aguilera (Ali) and Cher ? (Tess). Tess is the owner of the club but soon comes to a realisation that she is struggling to keep the ageing theatre alive, facing financial challenges, whilst the dancers become distracted by personal problems. Meanwhile, the life of Ali, is about to change dramatically by going from small-town girl to the spotlight of Burlesque. Ali very quickly falls in love with the art and begins to fulfil her dreams but will she be able to save the club from going bust and will Tess be able to keep the ageing theatre alive? It does take a Legend to make a Star...
