The course is designed for supervisors in the food industry.

It is intended to equip people in a supervisory position with adequate knowledge to ensure that their company operates in a hygienic and efficient manner. As the title suggests this course seeks to bridge the gap between the fundamental aspects of the subject, as introduced by the Level 2 Award in Food Safety and the Advanced Certificate course which draws upon knowledge of the scientific and technical principles and practice.

To do this course you should have... 

There are no formal requirements, however ideally candidates attending the Intermediate course will have completed one of the foundation or basic courses offered by the CIEH, RSPH or RIPHH or studied on the C & G 706/1.
