On successful completion of this course you are able to progress onto the CIEH Level 4 Managing Food Safety.
To do this course you should have...
There are no formal requirements, however ideally candidates attending the Intermediate course will have completed one of the foundation or basic courses offered by the CIEH, RSPH or RIPHH or studied on the C & G 706/1.

- Supervisory management
- Temperature control
- Contamination control
- Applying and monitoring good hygiene practices
- Implementing good food safety procedures
- Contributing to the safety training of other
Succesful completion of this course is a clear indication that the person has a firm grip of the principles of food hygiene and food quality control - principles which when put into practice are vital in protecting the interests of the consumer and the food business.
