On successful completion of your Certificate in Marine Construction, Systems Engineering and Maintenance you can progress in your chosen career.
You can consider further progression onto the Level 3 Diploma in Marine Construction, Systems Engineering and Maintenance or onto an Apprenticeship.

To do this course you should have...
Candidates for the qualification will require GCSE's in English, Maths and a Science based subject at grades C, previous engineering experience will be considered.

Course Content
To gain the Marine Engineering Qualification you will work towards the following components:
Units to be studied are:
Unit 201: Introduction to the marine industry
Unit 208: Servicing and maintenance of marine engines.
Unit 203: Marine engineering processes and principles
Unit 209: Servicing and maintenance of marine propulsion systems
On completion of the above units you will be awarded the C&G 2463-02 Level 2 Certificate in Marine Construction, Systems Engineering and Maintenance
